Your X bookmarks and Reddit saves,
archived on your own computer.

PostCellar is a Chrome extension that copies the posts you've bookmarked on X and saved on Reddit into a private library you can search in full — and export to Markdown or Obsidian. No account. No cloud. No API limits.

Try the free beta Notify me at launch

Beta: free for your first 200 posts. Pro (unlimited + exports) will be a one-time purchase.

1. Open your saves

Go to your X Bookmarks or your Reddit “Saved” page, as you normally would.

2. Scroll

PostCellar quietly copies each post you scroll past — text, author, date and image links. It never clicks or scrolls for you.

3. Search & export

Find any saved post by a word you remember. Export one Markdown file per post, ready for Obsidian.

FAQ

Where is my data stored?

Only in your browser on your computer (IndexedDB). PostCellar has no server that receives your posts.

Does it need my X or Reddit password?

No. It works inside the pages you are already logged into and only on your Bookmarks / Saved pages.

Does it work with LinkedIn?

Not yet. Web pages from any site can be saved with right-click → “Save to PostCellar”.

What happens if I uninstall?

Local data is deleted with the extension. Export a JSON backup first — backups are free on every plan.

Is PostCellar affiliated with X or Reddit?

No. PostCellar is an independent tool and is not endorsed by X Corp. or Reddit, Inc.
